SYSTEME UND IHRE DEFINITIONEN
4.1 Definition der Elemente
Jedes Minimalnetzsystem setzt sich aus einzelnen
Strecken zusammen. Die Strecken sind von Punkten
zw. Knoten begrenzt (Bild 54).
Bild 55
zeigt eine Figur, Bild 56 eine Konfiguration.
4.2 Primärsysteme
Die Minimalnetzfigur zwischen zwei Punkten wird als
Primärfigur bezeichnet, Die Länge der Verbindung ist
fur die Definition ohne Bedeutung (Bild 57).
Die GesetzmidBigkeit zwischen den Elementen einer
Primérfigur bzw. Primdrkonfiguration wird durch die
Formel (1) ausgedrückt. Die Anzahl der Strecken ist
um 1 kleiner als die Anzahl der Punkte.

SYSTEMS AND THEIR DEFINITIONS
1 1 Definition of the Elements
ach minimal net system is composed of individual
ines limited by isolated points or knots (Figure 54).
The line (S) is the projection of the film strip (L) from
the test arrangement and is the shortest connection
between two isolated points, point and knot or two knots
Point (P) is the projection of the vertical needle (N)
>f the test arrangement. The point is the given
element of the test, The lines and knots are formed
later in the course of the tests.
The knot (K) is the projection of the joint edge of
three film strips formed in the experiment and which
intersect at an angle of 120°
Each minimal net system is comprised of one or more
Figures, each of which represents the individual
minimal net figure between points. The connections
within one figure may pass knots but not points. Whe:
the connection crosses a point, a new figure begins.
Several figures then form a configuration. Figure 55
shows a figure, figure 56 a configuration.
4.2 Primary Systems
The minimal net figure between two points is called
orimary figure. The length of the connection is not
important for the definition (figure 57).
The regularity of features among the elements of a
srimary figure or primary configuration is expressed
by the equation (1) in which S represents the numbe
of lines and P the number of points in the
sonfiguration

Grades.
Die Anzahl der Knoten bestimmt den Grad (Bild 58).
4.3 Secondary Systems
When knots aopear in a figure, it is defined as a
secondary figure.
The minimal net between three points shows a knot
and is defined as a secondary figure of the first grade
that between four points includes two knots and is
zalled a secondary figure of the second grade. Thus,
the grade is determined by the number of knot points
"see figure 58).
