DER BAUPROZESS

1 Das Baugelände ist bereits planiert,
2 Der Fundamentgraben ist ausgehoben, Die Hilfsballons
 sind verteilt und verankert.
3 Das Schutznetz ist ausgelegt. Zur Montage des
konstruktiven Netzes werden zuerst die Seile der
unteren Seillage gradlinig von Fundament zu Fundament
ohne Stöße mit geringer Vorspannung gezogen. Darauf
folgen rechtwinklig dazu die Seile der oberen Seillage,
Beide Lagen werden miteinander zu einem Netz mit
einer Maschenweite von lo m verbunden,
4 An dem Seilnetz sind die durchsichtigen Häute befestigt.
5 Die Fundamente sind geschlossen, die Hilfshallons geful"
6 Das Aufblasen mit Hilfe starker Gebläse dauert etwa
50 Stunden,
7 Der Aufblasvorgang ist beendet. Die mittleren Hilfsballons
 sind abgesaugt, Die Großhülle ist errichtet und
dient als Baustellenüberdachung.
B Der Ansaugturm ist gebaut und das Zu- und Abluftsystem
 installiert,
? Die ersten Gebäude sind errichtet. Der Bau der Stadt
beginnt.

THE CONSTRUCTION PROCESS

1 The site is already levelled.
2 The foundation holes are dug. The balloons to assist
inflation are placed and anchored.
3 The protective net is laid out. To erect the constructive
net, the cables of the lower cable layer are drawn in a
straight line with low pretension. The cables of the
upper cable layer are then laid on at right angles to
the lower cables. Both layers are then bound together
into a single net with 10 cm mesh width.
4 The transparent skin are fixed to the cablenet.
5 The foundations are closed and the support balloons
inflated,
5 The inflation with heavy-duty auxiliary blowers takes
approximately 50 hours.
7 Inflation is complete. The middle support balloons are
deflated. The giant hull is now erected and serves as a
roof over the construction site,
8 The ventilation tower is constructed and the air
exchange system is installed,
? The first buildings are complete. Construction on the
city begins.
