MODELLBAU UND FOTOGRAFIE

Das Modell wurde im Maßstab M =1:2000 gebaut,
Der Durchmesser der überdachten Stadt beträgt im
Modell 1 m. Die Grundplatte mit der arktischen
Landschaft aus Rohazell (geschäumtes Plexiglas) und
mehrlagigen Tischlerplatten mißt 1,60 m mal 2,20 m.
Der Stadibereich ist nach unten herausnehmbar.

Die Stadt wird mit einer o,1 mm dicken Klarsichtfolie
aus PVC, die durch ein knotenfreies Fischernetz aus
polyesterfaser gehalten wird. Das Netz hat eine
Maschenweite von 15 mm und eine Fadendicke vonl mm.

Die Haut des Modells wird mit dem gleichen Luftdruck
gehalten, wie wu die beabsichtiate Realisation
(etwa 25-35 kp/m“). Zur Erzeugung des Innendrucks
wurde ein Gebläsesystem eingebaut, das stufenlos
gesteuert werden kann,

Im Stadtgebiet sind zwei runde Löcher ausgeschnitten.
Hier wird eine Hologon-Spezialkamera (Bildwinkel
110°) für verzeichnungsfreie Abbildungen eingesetzt.
Damit lassen sich Innenräume fotografisch aus der
Fußgängerperspektive erfassen, Der naturgetreue
Modellbau wurde mit den Möglichkeiten der Fotografie
abgestimmt. Durch den großen Verkleinerungsmaßstab
liegt die Schwierigkeit besonders darin, den Innenraum
in der Fotografie wirklichkeitsnah und überzeugend
darzustellen.

MODEL CONSTRUCTION AND PHOTOGRAPHY

The model was buflt to a scale of 1:2000 . In the
model, the diameter of the city is 1 m. The base
panel with simulated arctic landscape of Rohazell
foam plexiglas) and plywood measures 1,60 m by
2,20 m. The city area can be removed from the
bottom.

The model city is spanned with a 0,1 mm thick
transparent skin of PVC supported by a knotless
Fish net of polyester fiber. The net has a mesh
width of 15 mm and a web thickness of 1 mm.

The skin over the model is inflated with the same
air pressure as planned for the full scale roof
(approx. 25-35 kp/m"). An infinitely adjustable
blower system has been installed to produce the
internal pressure.

Two round holes have been cut in the city area
to accommodate a special model Hologon Camera
(viewing angle 110") for distortion-free pictures.
By this process, the interior areas can be depicted
from the pedestrian perspective. Construction on the
authentic model was coordinated with the various
photographic possibilities. The rather small scale
makes it particularly difficult to take realistic
and convincing photos of the interior.
